The smartphone company Samsung is soon going to launch it’s next M series smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy M40 in India. According to the sources, the company can also launch the Galaxy A series smartphone alongside the Samsung Galaxy M40. This could be the Samsung Galaxy A10. Meanwhile, recently, the company has announced to give Android 9 pie update to its M series smartphones in India.
In India, Samsung had launched 3 smartphones of the M series lineup, the Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30. All the smartphones of M series are budget devices and fall in the mid ranged segment.
Besides, the company has also launched 6 smartphones in its A series lineup. These are the Samsung Galaxy A10, the Galaxy A20, the Galaxy A30, the Galaxy A50, the Galaxy A70 and lastly, the Galaxy A80. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A80 is a premium smartphone.
Specifications of the Galaxy M40
According to the rumors this phone will have a 6.3-inch AMOLED Display. Furthermore, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC chip-set will power the device. Talking about the battery performance, we can expect the device pack in a massive 5,000 mAh Li-Polymer battery. In addition it comes with support for fast charging 3.0.
The Galaxy M40 will feature a triple camera setup at the rear, according to rumors. The smartphone will run on Android Pie out of the box, along with Samsung’s OneUI on top.
The Geek-bench Scores are also listed on their website for both single and multi core’s. The company could launch the device next month. There is no official announcement on the pricing of the device. But, looking at the stiff competition coming from Xiaomi, we can expect it to be priced below Rs 25,000.
