OnePlus is always known for its Flagship devices. But lately, it’s image has changed to more affordable choices to the Premium devices in the market. OnePlus phones do provide the basic specs but somewhere or the other they fall behind in terms of features.
However, with the latest offering of the company, the OnePlus 7 Pro, it might be able to change this perspective. But, there is a catch here. All this would be possible only if the leaked specifications are true and the price is correct.
It is rather clear that both OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro will be powered the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. The RAM could well be an 8 GB and 10 GB. These are the already heard specifications and not of much interest.
Now, new leaks are surrounding the internet. The company is all set to launch its first triple camera setup with the OnePlus 7 Pro, in particular. And it seems pretty impressive.
There would be a large 48 megapixel primary camera, which is most likely to shoot in 12 MP by default (Pixel Binning Technology. Along with it, there would be a 16 MP ultra-wide lens. In addition, the camera unit will also consist of a 8 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Now, the most interesting thing to see here is how this performs in comparison to other camera flagships in this segment.
One thing that could break the deal would be the poor camera software on the device. Although, OnePlus has always been committed to regularly updating it’s camera. It will be interesting to see how the out of the box experience with the device would be.
OnePlus 7 Pro could very well be an all rounder smartphone in terms of performance, gaming, photography, multimedia experience and other day to day tasks. However, everything comes for a price. And, given all these specifications, it is likely to be a little heavier on pocket compared to the previous OnePlus devices.
OnePlus is expected to launch these smartphones on May 14. So, let us see how it all goes.
