The Taiwan based smartphone manufacturing company Asus finally launched its most anticipated smartphone, the Asus 6Z in India. Meanwhile, the launch comes after a legal dispute between the Asus and the Indian smartphone company Zen Mobiles. Eventually, Asus sorted the issue and rebranded the Asus Zenfone 6 to Asus 6Z, before launching it in the Indian markets.

The Unique Camera Setup
The highlight feature of the Asus 6Z is the flip dual-camera setup which includes a 48MP primary sensor alongside a 13MP wide angle lens. The same dual-camera setup at the rear flips over to enable the user to take selfies as well.
Further, the unique camera setup on the device comes with dual LED flash light and has an aperture of f/1.79. The sensor used in the camera is the flagship Sony IMX586. Additionally, it comes with Laser Auto focus and EIS technology. The camera sensor uses the Quad Bayer Technology which gives greatly detailed photos in 12MP by default. The 13MP wide angle lens comes with a 125-degree field-of-view. The sensor has an aperture of f/2.4 and supports video recording at up to 4K 60fps resolution. Further, the flip camera on the Asus 6Z even offers automatic 180-degree horizontal and vertical panorama.
Display, Hardware and Battery
Next, coming to the display of the Asus 6Z. It comes with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Nano Edge IPS LCD display with support for HDR 10. Further, the screen has a Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection on top.
Further, the Asus 6Z sports the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC chipset, alongside the Adreno 640 GPU. The device runs on Android v9.0 Pie with the custom ZenUI 6 skin on top. In addition, the company promises to roll out Android Q and R update to the device in future. The battery in the device is a massive 5,000mAh, and supports Qualcomm QuickCharge 4.0 via a USB type-C port.
Pricing and Availability
The Asus 6Z will be up for sale in Midnight Black and Twilight Silver color options. The price of the device starts at Rs 31,999 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. While, the 6GB+128GB variant costs Rs 34,999. Further, the 8GB+256GB storage variant will cost Rs 39,999. The sale of the smartphone will kick off on June 26, exclusively on Flipkart.
