Lenovo is here with its flagship device, the Lenovo Z6 Pro. The company launched the device on 23 April 2019, at an event at it’s Beijing Headquarters. The Z6 Pro is on par with the best of gaming phones out there in the market in the mid-range price segment.
Here, we look at the specifications which Lenovo gives with its latest flagship, the Z6 Pro.
Firstly, a brief overview of the design of the smartphone. Lenovo Z6 Pro features a 6.39-inch Waterdrop notch style display. Moreover, it has an AMOLED display along with a Corning’s Gorilla Glass protection on top. Although, it is not specified which version of the Glass it would be. The screen resolution of the device is 1080 x 2340 pixels along with a Pixel Density of 403 ppi. The device is available in 2 color variants, which are blue and black.
Now, coming to the performance part, Lenovo Z6 supports the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. One plus is also going to use this processor in their next one plus 7 Pro. In addition, it is comes with 6GB of RAM + 128GB of storage, at it’s base configuration. The device is running on Android v9.0 Pie with the custom ZUI 11 skin on top.
The camera unit of Z6 Pro is the highlight of the device. It features a quad-camera setup at the rear. With a 48MP primary sensor, it also has a 16MP wide angle and a 8MP telephoto lens. Above all, it also consists of a 2MP highly sensitive sports camera, that is capable of capturing sports videos. The front has a 32MP selfie shooter having AI beautifying function.
Lenovo Z6 Pro packs in a massive 4,000 mAh Li-Polymer battery to keep the device powered up. The in-box accessories include a 27W fast charger. Also, the device uses a USB type-C connection which gives faster data transfer rate.
Other features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It supports dual SIM with dual VoLTE at 4G connection. Although, Lenovo plans to release a 5G variant of the device later on in May or June.
Finally, talking about the availability, Lenovo Z6 Pro is available in four variants. The 6GB + 128GB variant has a price of CNY 2,899 (~$432). The 8GB + 128GB variant is available at a price of CNY 2,999 (~$447). Consequently, the 8GB + 256GB variant has a price of CNY 3,799 (~$566). And, at last, the 12GB + 512GB variant has a price of CNY 4,999 (~$744).
Expected price in India is 30,000(approx.). Launch date in India would be 24 June 2019.
Most noteworthy, these prices are fixed only for China. We still have to wait for the device launch in India and rest of the world and then only we will be able to confirm on the prices.
