Xiaomi owned Mi Ecosystem brand, MIJIA today officially announced the most awaited Mi Band 4 in China. Though we already saw a couple of leaks concerning the design and specifications of the Band. The company introduced 3 different variants of the device, which includes the regular variant, NFC variant and the Avenger variant.
Specifications of the new Mi Bands
The new Mi Band 4 features a bigger and brighter display as compared to the previous Mi Band 3. Xiaomi gives you a 0.95-inch AMOLED display which comes in addition to a 24 bit color display. Similar to the Band 3, you get a touch screen support in the Mi Band 4 as well. A 2.5D resistant glass protection on top protects the display of the Band from scratches.
Besides, the Band 4 comes with 6 different sports mode support, with features like real-time swimming data tracking. The company has designed the band with 5ATM waterproof design, and claims it to withstand under water depths of up to 50 meters.
Meanwhile, the Mi Band 4 comes with a built-in microphone, supported by the Xiao AI Voice Assistant. It helps the user to easily access and control Smart Home IoT products. The NFC variant of the Band comes with a support for Alipay. However, this variant is available only in China. Moreover, this band comes with Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity.
Furthermore, the display of the Mi Band 4 shows the user time, heart rate, activities, steps, weather, calls, and App notifications. Additionally, this band also monitors the user’s sleep cycle and fitness. Besides, Xiaomi also gives the support for tri-axis accelerometer and gyro sensor in the new Band. We get a 135mAh batter support in the regular variant of the band. Whereas, a 125mAh battery powers the NFC variant of the Band. The company claims that the battery on the regular variant will provide users a backup of 20 days. On the other hand, the NFC variant can go for 15 days after a full charge.
These Bands will go on sale, starting from June 16
Lastly, talking about the pricing and availability of the bands. Users have 4 color options to chose from, which include Pink, Orange, Blue and Brown. The regular variant of the Mi Band 4 has a price tag of CYN 169 (~Rs 1,695), whereas, the NFC variant is available for purchase for CYN 229 (~Rs 2,300). Meanwhile, the Avengers variant can be purchased at a price of CYN 349 (~Rs 3,500). These bands will be available for purchase, starting from June 16.
